
The Garrett High School Boys and Girls Bowling teams both finished 3rd in the final regular season standings.
On Monday the Garrett Bowl hosted the Northeast Indiana High School Bowling Conference tournament. The girls team finished the tournament in 4th place. The boys team won the tournament beating out six other schools. Their work is not yet over, as they have team Sectionals on Monday, January 8th in Kendallville and individual Sectionals on Sunday, January 14th in Auburn. Sectionals will advance two boy teams and two girl teams to the Fort Wayne Regionals along with ten individual boys and five individual girls.

This Saturday the GMS and GHS Choirs will be singing at their annual Christmas Caroling sing-a-long in front of Garrett City Hall! Come sing along and get in the holiday spirit this Saturday from 4:30PM-5:00PM.

Garrett High School's National Honor Society will be doing their annual door-to-door food drive for the Community Care Food Pantry THIS Sunday, November 12 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
If you do not live in town, donations may be dropped off during those times at Door 25 at the high school (by the caboose).

Congratulations to the GHS Spell Team! 🥳 They competed on Monday night at the Area Spell meet at Homestead HS. The team received 2nd place at the meet! Jack Faylor also received the "Near Perfect Speller" ribbon for spelling 8 out 9 works correctly. Also, Alex Smith and Quinton Ross spelled 7 out of 9 words correctly. The students studied a work list of over 2,200 words!
