With the first day of school being tomorrow, our buses will be on their routes to pick up and drop off students. When you see a bus on the road please remember:
🟡 Flashing yellow lights: The bus is preparing to stop to load or unload children. Motorists should slow down and be ready to stop.
🔴 Flashing red lights: The bus has stopped and children are getting on or off. Motorists MUST stop their cars and wait for children to load on or off. Once the stop arm is withdrawn, lights are off, and the bus starts moving then cars may proceed.

BrightArrow Parent Notification
Garrett-Keyser-Butler Schools have switched communication services to Bright Arrow Communications. This will continue to allow your student’s school and teachers to send a telephone call, text message or email to you providing important information about school events, information or emergencies. To be able to receive text messages, you must “Opt In”.
In the event of an emergency at school, you can be assured that you will be informed immediately by phone. The successful delivery of information is dependent upon accurate contact information for each student, so please make certain that we have your most current phone numbers and email addresses.
A call, text message and email will be going on Tuesday evening. If you should not be receiving these notifications or know of someone who did not receive it, contact GKBmessaging@gkb.k12.in.us.
Additional information about Bright Arrow Communications can be found at https://www.gkb.k12.in.us/page/family-portal.

Stay up to date this school year with the new website we launched last year and our app! You can stay informed with alerts, check events, view the lunch menu, and much more right from your device.
