With the first day of school being tomorrow, our buses will be on their routes to pick up and drop off students. When you see a bus on the road please remember:
🟡 Flashing yellow lights: The bus is preparing to stop to load or unload children. Motorists should slow down and be ready to stop.
🔴Flashing red lights: The bus has stopped and children are getting on or off. Motorists MUST stop their cars and wait for children to load on or off. Once the stop arm is withdrawn, lights are off, and the bus starts moving then cars may proceed.

"Everyone who remembers their own education remembers teachers, not methods and techniques. The teacher is the heart of the educational system." - Sidney Hook
Thank you to the educators at J.E Ober for being such extraordinary teachers. The love, patience, and dedication that you bring to the classroom and district truly makes a difference in the lives of students.

It's Riley Carnival Time! On Friday May 16th, J.E. Ober students will be enjoying the annual Riley Carnival! During the Carnival, students may play games to win prizes. There will be several games to play, as each K-5 classroom has developed a game. Students will purchase tickets to play games, purchase snacks, and make purchases from the "store". Each ticket will cost $.25, and most games will cost one ticket to play; items from the store may be more than one ticket.
Students may begin purchasing tickets on May 5th, and tickets will continue to be sold throughout the day of the Carnival. All proceeds from this even will go to Riley Children's Hospital and Classroom Materials.

It's hard to believe that the end of the year is upon us. Our 5th graders will have an individual classroom graduation to celebrate their achievements. This will take place in the PAC on May 23rd. Please see the schedule per classroom. 9:15am-10:00am--McKown 11:15am-12:00pm--Warstler 12:30am-1:15pm--Snyder 1:30pm-2:15pm--Books
