Congratulations to the Middle School Bowling team! They had their Bowling Regional this past Saturday at the Auburn Bowl. The top four GMS Bowlers were Luis Corbin, Audrea Newman, Kolton Martinez, and Grayson Ruckman. They also finished in 3rd place as a team and will be advancing to the semi-state competition to be held this coming Saturday in Fort Wayne. #CarrytheG

Garrett High School hosted Futures Day for the 10 time today.
All students had the chance to take part in careers and life skills experiences throughout the day.
This included freshmen visiting Impact Institute and some juniors taking college visits. Sophomores and seniors stayed at school for life skills sessions led by GHS staff.

Yesterday was the Annual DUI Mock Accident where students get to see how important it is to not drive under the influence. Thank you DeKalb County Coroner, DeKalb County Sheriff's Office - Indiana , Garrett Fire Department, Parkview EMS, students, and staff members who helped facilitate this!

Happy School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! We have great Bus Drivers and Monitors here at GKB and we couldn't be more thankful for everything they do. They not only drive different routes and trips, but their main goal is to get students safely to and from school. They are also sometimes the first and last GKB staff member that students see for the day.

SUN Bucks is a NEW benefit program to help households feed school-aged children in the summer!
Families receiving free or reduced meals automatically qualify and do not need to do anything except ensure that your address is updated in PowerSchool by May 1st.

The annual Garrett Encore Show Choir Camp is happening this May!
Registration forms have been sent home with students.
This Camp is for Grades K-6 Boys and Girls!
Students will:
*work first hand with Encore Show Choir Members!
*learn and perform choreography to a song!
*learn a variety of performance techniques!
*Games and snacks every day!
*Receive an Encore T-shirt they get to keep!
*Build their confidence level through a positive performance experience!
Registration deadline is April 20th!
The Garrett High School Exhibition Night 2024 will be on Tuesday, April 30th!
This event is free and will show case the real-world projects crafted by GHS students.
Come on by and check out the hard work these students have put into their project!
