Meet Oliver, the therapy dog!
Oliver is a 1.5 yr old Bernedoodle owned by our very own Fieldens. Oliver is in training right now, but will be a Nationally Certified Therapy Dog through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Oliver was approved by the Board in November and will hopefully begin with GKB when we return from winter break. Oliver will be with our Mental Health Counselor, Mrs. Glaser, Monday - Thursday. Oliver is not just for the students, but he is for the staff as well! He will help improve the mental health in our students and staff, increase skills such as problem solving and coping, and give students and staff an atmosphere where it is safe to talk and feel without judgement.
