The Spencerville Order of the Eastern Star hosted the 4th annual Donut Stacking Contest on Friday, September 26.
Each school within the DeKalb Co. School System was represented by an OES family member or friend who partnered with a local police officer from DeKalb County.
J.E. Ober Elementary took home 1st place, earning $1,000 for their school library.
Garrett High School also had a strong showing, receiving $800 to support their library program.
All winnings from this event go directly toward strengthening school library systems across DeKalb County. Schools will use the funds to purchase new materials and resources that support student literacy and learning.
