Art

Our school will be transformed into an art museum, with nearly 3,000 pieces of student artwork on display. Every hallway and bulletin board will feature 2-D and 3-D works, such as paintings, line drawings, ink, fiber art, clay, and more.

This event is more than a showcase of creativity, it’s a celebration of each child’s growth and identity as an artist. The art on display reflects their ideas, choices, risks, and discoveries. You’ll see the progression from early exploration in the lower grades to more complex, intentional work in fourth and fifth grade, where students planned their pieces in advance using sketches, notes, and design lists.

Some students have been coming in before school, excited to finish or add to their projects. Their pride and effort shine through every piece. I hope you’ll take time to walk through and experience the heart, thought, and imagination on display. Your presence helps affirm the importance of art in our students’ lives and in our school community. Special thanks to our PTO for supplying cookies and lemonade.
