Garrett Middle School is home to 392 students, 24 teachers, 6 Instructional Assistants, and 7 Office Staff/Admins. GMS teachers and staff work to provide students with the necessary tools to succeed academically, mentally, and physically. With the vision of Empowering Lifelong Learners, students at GMS participate in a number of project-based and cross-curricular learning experiences throughout their time with GMS.
GMS students have many opportunities to explore their interests inside and outside the classroom. Students can participate in student groups such as Sources of Strength and NJHS, after-school clubs like Girls on the Run and Game Club, and many extracurricular athletics.

Call out Meetings today for Middle School Bowling and GHS boys Soccer!
Bowling - All students in grades 5 thru 8 are invited to join the Indiana Middle School Bowling program. There will be a callout meeting for all interested students along with their parents at Garrett Bowl (110 West Keyser Street) on Monday, February 12th at 4:30.
GHS Boys Soccer - Any boy 8th thru 11th grade, there will be a GHS boys soccer player/parent meeting in the GHS Cafeteria on 2/12/24 @ 6pm with Coach Exford. Please enter Door 20.
